EQUALEARTH is complementary because while we are unequivocally supporting the efforts and achievements of our fellow organisations – we are committed not just to help – but to share the planet equitably between all species.

It is our irrevocable commitment to give back to Nature, Animals and Wildlife – in effect all fellow species including trees and plants and insects – their rightful share of the global natural habitat which humans have invaded, occupied, polluted, contaminated, wastelaid to further their own unsustainable expansion and planet-destructive activities.

During the Second World War many ordinary people hearing of the plight of the Jews in the concentration camps tried to alleviate their suffering by sending food parcels to the concentration camps but none were able to give them back their homes and habitat knowing their ultimate cruel fate.

Today Nature, Animals, Wildlife – in fact all of our fellow species – are suffering a similar cruel persecution.

Millions of decent, caring humans help our fellow species in their plight while human society as a whole is herding them into concentration camps for meat and clothing production on one hand and simultaneously is expropriating, damaging and destroying their natural habitat and eliminating their rights with the other.

Paradoxically human society in this context – like the nazis – is on a path of self-destruction.

The massive destruction of Nature and consequential extermination of Animals and Wildlife which has sustained the colonial-style expansionist ambitions and economic growth of human society as a whole is in itself deteriorating the health and standard of living of ever more individual humans.

All our major environmental and health problems, the destruction of the ozone layer, climate change, global warming, pollution, desertification, soil erosion, floods and droughts, plagues, etc. are directly connected with the fact that human society is destroying its own life support system which is constituted by the planetary life support system which is made up by the eco-system balance that sustains our global bio-diversity.

Every human, every animal, every plant and tree, in fact all species are an inter-dependent microcosm of the planetary life support system within a balanced eco-system of co-existential bio-diversity.

Humans have disturbed this balance to such an extent through over-proliferation and consequential damaging activities that the entire planet and all life is now at risk. The social fabric of our global co-existential bio-diversity has been corrupted so fundamentally that many humans can no longer see or understand the destructive effects of their self-obsessive domination of the planet.

Humans are trying to repair the damage and alleviate the suffering but are failing to address the underlying cause.

Thus all caring for the Environment, for Animals, for Wildlife, for our Fellow Species must be accompanied by giving them back their rightful share of the planet. The more we restore the original planetary eco-system balance and sustain a vibrant, mutually supportive co-existence with all life the more humans will themselves recover from the self-destructive effects of their over-expansion and suppression of bio-diversity.
